This map shows the most occurring consumer styles in China. The data in this set is based on a model-based calculation that combines demographic-, psychographic- and real estate data. This consumer model was developed by Spotzi and last updated in 2019. We turned this data into a geographical set so it can be used for location analytics. The dataset contains 3 features of 43.577 areas.
The Spotzi Consumer Styles divides the world’s population into ten consumer, or lifestyle, profiles. This was accomplished by analyzing consumer patterns and census data all over the world. Consumers were placed into ten overarching categories that reflect their differing values and preferences. We distinguish the following groups: the next generation, have nots, modest freedom, young and ambitious, nest builders, the affluent, urban elite, thriving fifties, senior citizens en country life.
