3-digit postal code Norway
This dataset depicts the boundaries of all 3-digit postal code areas in Norway. This Norwegian postal code system is developed by the Norwegian national postal service (Posten) to divide Norway in different areas. With this system each Norwegian region gets a unique code and locations can be found easily.
Postal codes in Norway are known as postnummer. The 4-digit postal code system (postnummersystemet) was introduced in 1968.

This map depicts the boundaries of 3-digit postal code areas of Norway. These 3-digit areas contain the following digits and features:
- The first two digits feature a specific Norwegian county. The number 00-12 feature the county of Oslo
- The last two digits feature a neighbourhood in the bigger cities and the smaller villages in more rural areas
