How to plot ZIP codes on a map?

Our mapping platform and Spotzi Geocoder are all the tools you need in order to visualize ZIP or postal code boundaries on a custom map. There are two ways go about this:


Mapping ZIP codes as points

Use the Spotzi Geocoder to plot ZIP code center-points (centroids) onto your map. For more information about this process please visit our article about importing and geocoding your dataset.

Mapping ZIP code boundaries

In order to map your list of ZIP or postal codes as boundaries you must begin by using Spotzi's Geocoder to fill in any geometry that might be missing from your dataset. For more information about geometry and importing geographic data please read our article on geometry and location data.
